Northbound Seeker

Driven by deep grooves, warm harmonies, and a lifetime immersed in music, Northbound Seeker is the electronic/deep house project of Belfast-based Producer and DJ, Stephen “Oggy” Hill.

His musical journey began in earnest at age 14. From playing guitar in indie punk bands at the end of the 80s, to devouring Northern Ireland’s legendary club and rave scene of the early 90s, this foundational background in instrumentation and music theory seamlessly bridged into club culture during the golden era of mid-’90s house music, where he held down a DJ residency at Belfast’s infamous Vico’s from 1994 to 1995. Never straying far from live performance, he continued to hone his craft across the decades in multiple bands, sharing stages with and supporting a wide variety of established acts along the way.

Blending the raw energy of classic 90s dancefloor culture with refined, modern deep house

production, Northbound Seeker crafts track structures rooted in organic musicality, lush chord progressions, and immersive basslines. This project marks a defining chapter in his sound, serving up sophisticated, atmospheric house music built for both late-night club sessions and headphone listening.
