D-Echo Project – Blue Lake EP

With Blue Lake EP, D-Echo Project once again proves their mastery of atmosphere, space, and groove, delivering two tracks that feel both expansive and deeply intimate. The title track, “Blue Lake,” opens like a breath of fresh air—serene, fluid, and full of gentle momentum. Soft pads wash over a steady downtempo rhythm, while delicate melodic textures ripple beneath the surface. It’s a track that conjures the tranquility of nature, yet feels right at home in a late-night DJ set or introspective listening session.

“Sensu” takes a slightly different path while maintaining the same lush sonic palette. There’s more movement in the rhythm—syncopated, subtle, and layered with a jazzy sensibility that gives the track a laid-back but sophisticated energy. Smooth electric keys and understated grooves blend effortlessly, creating a sense of effortless cool without losing emotional depth.

Together, these two tracks make for a cohesive yet varied EP—an immersive listening experience that drifts between the organic and the electronic, the terrestrial and the dreamlike. With Blue Lake EP, D-Echo Project continues to carve out their own distinctive space in the world of downtempo and ambient-infused electronica. Features Flávio Torres playing the Sarod guitar.
