Visions Of Light – Dance With Me

OUT NOW.

As winter seeps and merges into Spring Visions Of Light return to Freebooter to soundtrack this transitional phase that says goodbye to the cold and dark nights and hello to brighter days and the reintroduction of colour into our lives. Dance With Me began with Muzka writing a vocal taking influence from 90s house music but rather than having the cliche call to the dance floor they opted for a dance through the subconscious and Simon and Dan instantly got onto crafting a sonic accompaniment with guitar, synths and keys then bounced around the three until crafted into a song that brings both warmth and happiness to those kind enough to listen.

The final product is a pillow of comfort to rest your head upon while recharging in the spring sunshine enjoying the smell of new floral blooms and fresh cut grass, a taster of what’s to come this summer and a new album of aural delights and surprises.

The Tambores En Benirras remix oozes class and Balearic charm with intricate percussion and gliding synth lines. It constantly moves and evolves taking us on a trip through sound, style and genre embracing creativity and originality. While so much electronica relies on loops and repetition this remix never sits still, every twist and turn hits us with something new and unexpected, each element crafted in synergy but not afraid to contrast either.

If the original was a pillow the Secret Soul Society remix is a unified heads down crowd of sweaty revellers on a twisted cosmic march through space and time. SSS up the energy with a late night gem of a remix that pulses and nods through hypnotic grooves and punchy beats providing a beautiful contrast to the original.
